Making Wood Work
Last year, 44 people participated on the programme and 29 of them have progressed to positive outcomes.
Making Wood Work has now ended. Making Wood Work was a ten week programme to help people make progress towards employment, training or volunteering. It was made up of real work experience in our furniture making workshop, training in wood recycling and employability support.
It took place in our South Street workshop on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 4pm and Friday 9am – 12pm.
If you would like some further information on what we currently offer or to arrange a workshop tour please contact Eileen on 0141 237 8566 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

It’s a chance to meet new people and learn to work together
I enjoyed making things for customers, going out on site and learning to use different tools
The 10 weeks went really quickly and it got me back into a working routine
It improved my confidence and gave me something to talk about at an interview and helped me get a job.
